xD okay its been almost 3 months yea.
so im here to list down the netball terms that 201 girls have been using and came up with (:
Shots:
1. Basketball shot - basically a noisy shot (: those that hit the rim pretty hard.
2. Golden shot - very flexible one. used to describe any awesome shot x)
3. Fat Hope Shot/Toilet Bowl Leak- when the netball goes right round right round, and flies/leaks out of the rim eventually. used regardless of how many rounds it spins.
4. 'Dong' Shot/SEA Shot - paying tribute to misschuabann! cos she likes the vietnam currency "dong" the most (: when the ball bounces lightly on any point of the rim, regardless whether its a successful shot.
5. Silent Hill Shot - reminiscing the good ol' days, for 201 guys! This is simple (: basically just a shot that doesnt hit the rim or anything and swooooshes through the net silently!
6. Toilet Bowl Flush Down - When the netball spins in circles around the rim and makes a successful shot eventually(:
7. Royal Shot - Used for a successful shot when the shooter is standing merely two steps or less from the netball pole (: most girls look graceful when they shoot like that, so yea there goes the name xDD
8. Golden Couple Shot - whooots! lets applause for the famous couple! SIMIN AND SIDIK! see? 5 letters and starting with S =.= okay. so basically it is used when a girl shoots in a weird manner after a guy bade farewell to her (: *exactly what happened to ah leow today! 0.0
9. Hit Winnie's Head Shot - ahahahahs. i feel so flattered to have a shot named after me! basically its a rare shot, whenthe ball just rolls down the pole after an unsuccessful shot (:
Defend:
1. Partai Indonesia - erm this is just a suan for sidik. he and his weird chopping style of defending.
Passings/Throws:
1. Partai Indonesia - same sidik style of chopping the ball with this arm =.=
2. British Throw - We've all learnt that the British were culturally arrogant right xD so basically "british" is used by 201 guys to describe most byorners, i THINK ;0 &so its named after a joke in 201. During pe basketball anlong, mingwei, and byorn purposely try and shoot but fail with anlong fumbling around in the middle pretending to try get the ball, and waste time in the process. it became a joke when someone scorned "so this is how the british play basketball". xDDD so this term is used when someone, say from team a shoots and misses, and someone from team b gets the ball. the team b member shoots again and misses, with the SAME member from team a getting the ball. so YEP. thats the british throw.
the 201 girls will come up with more, but please help my popularize these terms by using them kay ;D
